1. Overview
Valley Studio provides artists with access to high-quality instrumentals produced by our in-house and affiliated producers. To ensure that both artists and producers are fairly protected, all beats are distributed under clearly defined licensing agreements.
Each license type grants different levels of usage rights, streaming limits, and exclusivity. Artists must select the license that best fits their intended use of the beat before releasing music commercially.
Our licensing structure consists of four main options:

Non-Exclusive License – Limited streaming rights with shared use of the beat.

Unlimited License – Unlimited streaming rights but still non-exclusive.

Exclusive License – Full exclusive rights to an existing beat.

Custom Production License – A completely custom beat created specifically for the artist.
All licenses include mandatory producer credit and royalty splits to ensure that the creators of the music are properly compensated for their work.
By purchasing or using a beat from Valley Studio, you acknowledge and agree to the licensing terms outlined below.
2. Non-Exclusive License
This license permits the artist to release the song on all streaming platforms up to a combined total of 50,000 streams.
Once this limit is exceeded, the license becomes invalid, and a new agreement must be signed between Valley Studio and the artist in order to continue distribution.

3. Unlimited License
This license permits the artist to release the song on all streaming platforms without restrictions on the number of streams.
However, live performances and major label releases are not permitted under this license.

The producer will work with the artist to create a tailor-made instrumental suited to their sound and vision.

6. Producer Credit Policy
All artists who purchase or license beats from Valley Studio must provide proper credit to the producer in all releases and promotional material.
Required Credit Format
The producer must be credited in one of the following formats:

Prod. by [Producer Name]
Where Credit Must Appear
Producer credit must be included in:

Spotify
-
Apple Music
-
YouTube
-
SoundCloud
-
Music videos
-
Streaming platform metadata where applicable

Any official release of the song
Failure to Credit
Failure to properly credit the producer may result in:

Removal requests submitted to streaming platforms
-
Suspension of licensing rights
-
Possible legal action in cases of commercial misuse
Valley Studio reserves the right to enforce proper credit attribution to protect the work and reputation of its producers.
7. Streaming Revenue & Royalty Distribution
Music released on streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and other digital service providers generates revenue based on streams, downloads, and platform monetization.
Artists are responsible for distributing their music through a digital distributor (such as DistroKid, TuneCore, UnitedMasters, etc.) in order to collect streaming revenue.
Under Valley Studio licensing agreements:

The artist receives the primary streaming revenue through their chosen distributor.

The producer receives their agreed royalty percentage as outlined in the selected license.
Royalty splits apply to the composition and commercial use of the beat and must be honored in any official release, monetized content, or commercial distribution of the song.
Artists are responsible for ensuring that producer credits and royalty percentages are properly registered with:

Digital distributors
-
Performing Rights Organizations (PROs)

Any publishing administration services used for the release
Failure to properly allocate royalties or credit the producer may result in licensing disputes, revenue claims, or takedown requests submitted to the relevant platforms.

Artists exceeding license limits must upgrade their license to remain compliant.
